Cornelius and I first crossed paths back in 2016 - he's been a huge help to me with improving my core strength, overall fitness, and boosting my confidence in the gym. At 45 years old, I had never set foot in a gym before, but I was eager to enhance my physical condition, improve my balance, and strengthen my core. Cornelius completely transformed my perspective on exercise and how I feel about my physical self. When I relocated from the Mount Pleasant area in 2019, we shifted our sessions to online meetings. His positive energy was just what I needed. It took some adjustments to set up my home gym, but we discussed cost-effective solutions. Recently, I added a Peloton bike (on rent), which has allowed me to establish a 3-4 day workout routine that involves a genuine connection with Cornelius. He provides excellent guidance, and the bike's cardio workouts, as well as its meditation and stretching apps, have been beneficial. At 52, I've found a wonderful friend and coach in Cornelius who has educated me on understanding, respecting, and tuning into my body - ultimately making me mentally tougher. And the best part? It's been an enjoyable journey because he's always kind, considerate, and full of positivity. I am currently in the best physical shape of my life.

Following my surgery, I was grappling with a lack of confidence in my ability to exercise. I've worked with other personal trainers previously, and Cornelius stands out as the pinnacle of excellence. My current fitness level and health wouldn't be where they are today without his expertise. Even post-surgery recovery, I continue training with Cornelius because his sessions continually push me and hold me accountable.

Cornelius is absolutely fab! He's ever so patient and has a knack for knowing just when to give you that extra push. I must say, I do struggle with self-motivation when it comes to fitness, so his guidance is truly invaluable. I sought his expertise during my recovery from an injury, and he was incredibly understanding and supportive. Additionally, he makes a concerted effort to explain the rationale behind each exercise, empowering you to carry them out independently.

I was trained by Cornelius from 2011-2020. He is a creative and innovative coach who genuinely cares about your overall health and well-being. He works with you to develop a tailored plan based on your goals and ensures you stay committed to achieving them. Cornelius also puts in the effort to keep both your mind and muscles engaged so you don't get bored with your workouts. Beyond being an excellent trainer, he is a wonderful person who is always there to support you through ups and downs in motivation and adjustment to improve your health. I am disappointed that I can no longer train with Cornelius since I've moved out of the DMV, but he truly is the best in every aspect.

Training with Cornelius has been an absolutely splendid experience. He meets you at your level and endeavours to challenge you in a supportive and nonjudgmental manner. I've never had much interest in weightlifting, yet he has kindly demonstrated correct form and how to adjust exercises for me to perform independently and away from the gym. This has greatly reduced the intimidation factor and increased safety throughout the entire process. He is a remarkable instructor with a dedication to lifelong fitness!
