My dear girl requested a membership for her sweet 16, and she couldn't be happier - she's practically living at the gym now! She's made some wonderful friends, made good use of the top-notch equipment, and enjoyed taking a dip in the pools. That cold plunge pool has been a lifesaver for her, as she's a varsity athlete in three sports and really puts her body through the wringer with all that training.

Are you on the lookout for a yoga class in Lafayette? Well, look no further because Reds is truly one of the top choices in town. Bindu Patel has a special way of sharing her passion and expertise in Iyengar yoga. Her classes are not just about donning yoga pants and hitting the gym. She strives to help her students grasp the true purpose behind each movement. Through her teaching, both beginners and seasoned yogis can delve into the practice with ease. She offers a chance to transcend the physical aspects of yoga and embark on a profound journey of self-discovery and growth.

Absolutely fantastic in every aspect!!! The greatest bang for your buck in terms of monthly investment, hands down!!!
Karen Ross (4/18/25, 2:55 PM):
Always kept clean, excellent amenities. Some machines may need replacing due to age or poor performance. During the summer, there tends to be a lot of children running around, but all in all, it's the best deal in Acadiana.
Cheryl Jordan (4/18/25, 7:57 AM):
Do not come here if you have kids - especially young girls. You will pay full price for a membership, yet there are numerous amenities that you will not be able to access with children under 14 (such as indoor pools, locker rooms, lap pools, etc.). I fully comprehend the regulations, but you will still be charged full membership fees for your family even though you are unable to utilize the facilities 🤷♀️.
If you have daughters, especially those who may seem small for their age, they will be restricted from using the waterslide. The lifeguards will cite safety concerns, but even if you can demonstrate that they meet the height requirements (which are only specified for girls and not visibly displayed) and they successfully pass the swimming proficiency test (swimming independently to the side), they will still be prohibited from riding. Boys, on the other hand, seem to have no issue. If you have a son, they will be permitted to ride and even allow a parent to catch them at the end.
Despite claiming to be family-friendly, their policies are evidently discriminatory.

This is my happy place. I wish I could reside, toil, and slumber here. The establishment is superb. The team is superb. The gear is superb. Ample secure parking spots or spots to secure your bike. Even at peak hours, there's no requirement to wait for a machine or equipment. It's top-notch.

Reds is a family-operated fitness center. Red Lerille himself is usually present, personally welcoming visitors almost every day! Reds offers a variety of exercise options, including complimentary classes for members. My personal favorites are the water aerobics sessions led by fantastic instructors. Additionally, for parents with young children, Reds provides a nursery, a delightful children's pool, and play area.
Kevin Baker (4/17/25, 7:11 PM):
This is by far the best fitness center I've ever laid eyes on. You simply must witness it firsthand to truly grasp its magnificence. This is the epitome of how a business should be established and operated. Kudos to you, Red. You've done a splendid job.
Evelyn Gomez (4/16/25, 4:53 PM):
The finest fitness center in Lafayette. No competition🔥...
Stephanie Johnson (4/16/25, 2:14 PM):
Red’s is like an oasis, mate. I've never felt better than after chilling at Red’s, whether it's the cold plunge followed by a sunbath in the summer or the hot plunge, sauna, and, of course, smashing it on the gym equipment 😂.
This gym is proper world-class, right here in Lafayette, and only costs a very reasonable $65 per month. They even have a kitchen serving up ready-to-eat meals and made-to-order grub (not bad prices either).
Can't believe I waited so long to sign up!
And hey, there's this saying, "You'll see them at Red's." It's led to some cracking relationships - in fact, it's how I landed my new job, thanks to a referral from someone at Red’s. Cheers!
Matthew Watson (4/15/25, 9:36 PM):
I wander far and wide, and let me tell ya, this gym is truly top-notch.
Justin Howard (4/14/25, 10:23 PM):
Women apparently aren’t safe at this gym. They seem to allow other members to mistreat you because they're just "grumpy old men" and are supposedly "respected" doctors. How disappointing.
Daniel Long (4/14/25, 3:57 PM):
Overpriced, snooty staff and members. If you enjoy being in the company of folks in the buff, it's a fab spot to visit. There's an excessive amount of self-medication happening there, if you catch my drift.
Diana Bailey (4/13/25, 8:21 AM):
In May 2023, a lady was attacked while utilizing a cable at the fitness center. The staff showed zero help whatsoever.
Rather, they gaslit and rationalized the actions of the elderly gentleman. "He's been a member for 50 years," "he's a doctor."
Women cannot feel secure in this environment. End of story.
Jessica Reyes (4/12/25, 11:05 PM):
I was on a road trip and needed a place to go for a quick workout, and let me tell you, this place was an absolute hidden gem. If I could rate this place any higher, I would. The best gym I have ever come across while traveling. If I find myself back in the area, I will definitely be returning here.
Janet Hall (4/12/25, 6:58 PM):
I absolutely adore this gym. The nursery is fantastic, allowing you to focus on your workout without fretting about your little ones. The facility is immaculately kept and has plenty of space, so you never have to wait for machines. The pool area is superb for both fitness activities and a wonderful family getaway. Complete with a lazy river splash pad, baby pool, water slide, and indoor/outdoor lap pools.
Mark Wright (4/12/25, 5:35 PM):
I've been a member at Reds for six years, and I'm always amazed by what it has to offer and the warmth of their staff. A staff member personally escorted me to the third floor to find the class I was attending. I found that service to be really exceptional! Mr. Red is one of the most caring individuals I've ever met. He truly deserves all the praise!
Ava Scott (4/12/25, 4:15 PM):
This gym is absolutely smashing, mate! If you happen to reside in Lafayette, Louisiana, you simply must give it a go!
Justin Morris (4/12/25, 1:02 PM):
Disgusting! The most unsanitary place ever! The women's locker room has a leaky sewer pipe in the wall that hasn't been fixed or cleaned. The women's workout area is filled with old and broken equipment, and don't even consider going into the co-ed workout area without being bothered by creepy old lurkers in socks and sandals who act like they own the place. Not a safe environment for women to exercise in! During the summer, it turns into a chaotic daycare center with kids being dropped off in van loads, running around the halls, screaming and causing chaos. You can't even walk without getting knocked down. The only saving grace is the excellent tennis courts and yoga instructors.
Cheryl Hernandez (4/12/25, 1:18 AM):
Absolutely splendid place, mate! Red's Fitness Center is top-notch with its spotless and welcoming atmosphere. No matter how you prefer to break a sweat, you'll be catered to at Red's. They offer fantastic swimming options, both indoors and outdoors, along with a therapeutic pool and a spacious cold plunge pool. Moreover, there's a huge family section featuring a children's pool, a lazy river, and a separate splash zone for toddlers.
The fitness classes are superb, covering aerobics, yoga, pilates, and various gym areas, including a boxing ring and specialized athletic training spaces. Not to mention their exceptional tennis facility which boasts indoor and outdoor courts with different surfaces to up your game. It's an absolute gem for those looking to stay in shape!
