There's a real bodybuilding and figure competition scene here, with folks bringing in their tripods to film their workouts - I even join in on the action with my own recordings. I must say, the Gym has a charming appearance and all that jazz. However, the customer service left much to be desired, I say! I sent a proper missive for cancelling my parent's membership, yet on that very same day they saw fit to charge another annual fee. A spot of bother, that was! I made an attempt to reason with them and requested a refund, but alas, they claimed their system simply couldn't accommodate such a request. Hence, I had no recourse but to involve the bank. Fortunately, I managed to retrieve my funds, but it rather ruffled some feathers, I must say.
Following that hullabaloo, lo and behold, there arose an unexpected kerfuffle. Post the dispute, it so happened that my bank restrained the gym from debiting the monthly dues any longer. One of the chaps approached me and informed that until the payment cleared, I was barred from entry. Thus, it's been a fortnight since I last set foot in the establishment, coupled with my travels abroad. Upon my return, I diligently ensured that all was sorted. Alas, whilst perspiring through my routine, one of the staff took it upon themselves to publicly scorn me, insinuating financial incapacity. T'was truly disconcerting, especially considering my gender and age. Attempts at clarifying the misunderstanding were met with the worn-out excuse of 'we were not present during said incident', blaming the turnover in ownership. Dreadful behavior, I must say.
To add insult to injury, they sought to bill me for the two months of impasse. Can you fathom the audacity? All due to their failed attempt at overcharging. Frustrated by this ordeal, I promptly terminated my membership, dismissing the outstanding fees. Aye, I instructed them to settle it from my parent's card and be done with it. Yet, to my dismay, months later, I was hounded by a collections agency, highlighting that same lingering debt, threatening my credit rating. What a confounded mess, brought on by their initial monetary mischief! My credit history, still in its tender stages, now besmirched by this debacle!
So, should you contemplate a membership at this establishment, I shan't dissuade you, but do exercise vigilance and heed this cautionary tale. Best of British luck to you, dear reader.

Do not waste your time and money on this gym. I was a member for a year and a half but had to terminate my membership due to health reasons. Despite making three attempts to cancel, they refused citing a supposed outstanding balance, despite my last visit being in May 2024. Towards the end of my membership, the gym's standards were declining rapidly with broken machines left unrepaired for weeks and no towels provided – I had to bring my own. Even my trainer stopped working there due to the shady management practices. There are far better options in the area that value their members. I have no issue paying for services I use, but I am being forced to pay for services I no longer require. Several people I used to train with have also left due to the poor management. The positive reviews you see are likely incentivized or manipulated. I have sought legal counsel and have reached out to the Texas Attorney General regarding this matter.

The process for canceling is absolutely absurd. I gave them a ring and was told I had to pop into the gym in person, so I did just that. Upon my arrival, they informed me that I needed to draft a letter expressing my desire to cancel, have it notarized, and send it via post in order to receive a CONFIRMATION VIA EMAIL. When I suggested simply sending an email to confirm my cancellation, they flat-out refused, stating, "That's not the protocol."

Precision Fitness provides a fantastic community atmosphere that truly makes me feel like part of the family. Jay, who runs the front desk, is an absolute legend, and Jaden, my personal trainer, is both knowledgeable and supportive. Although the membership fees may be on the higher side, the pristine and welcoming environment, as well as the lack of overcrowding, more than justify the cost. While there are a few machines in need of maintenance or replacement, this minor inconvenience pales in comparison to the overall positive experience at Precision Fitness. Unlike my previous gym, which had a hostile and uncomfortable vibe, I couldn't be happier with my decision to join this gym.
