This place is alright, y'know. They've got a wide range of machines and a couple of full racks of dumbbells, which is pretty neat. I tend to go around 2-3pm and can usually get through my lifting routine without any interruptions. I'd give it a 5, but it's just not very tidy. Other gyms I've been to make folks bring a gym towel to wipe down after themselves, but sadly, I don't see many people doing that here. Plus, there are only a few sanitizing stations with disinfectant and a sweaty rag for you to clean the machines with. They should switch those out for paper towel dispensers and bins. The locker rooms are stuffy, and the showers are tiny and smell off-putting! They could definitely do with a makeover in the locker room area.

Fantastic gym. The staff is so friendly and helpful, top-notch trainers. Membership prices are very reasonable. Plenty of beautiful people to admire. The only drawback is this branch doesn't have a hot tub or pool, but if you're a member, you can access those facilities at other branches 24/7!
Dylan Myers (4/25/25, 11:10 PM):
Absolutely smashing gym, top-notch gear, and a cracking staff! Only thing I fancy is having access around the clock. I'd be willing to shell out triple for that privilege. Cheers!

I 'ave been attendin' this gym on and off for the last couple of years, me wife 'as been a member for at least 2 years. I finally got a membership and started goin' regularly 3 months ago, and I 'ave to say the staff is fantastic. It's a gym, so yes sometimes there are smells and sometimes it's loud, but most of the time neither of these things are true. I read every single 1 star ratin' for this place and you can go ahead and ignore them all, they're just posted by people who 'ave nothin' better to do than get angry over nothin'. Axiom Meridian is excellent, staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, and the facilities are up-to-date. If you're in the market for a gym, do yourself a favor and check these guys out. If you really want results, they 'ave excellent personal trainers.

I've been a gym enthusiast for over two decades, so I've experienced a wide range of gyms, from outstanding to dreadful. This particular gym tends to be excessively crowded most of the time. Avoid working out here after 3 PM; it's chaos. It seems the company is thriving; they should consider opening another gym in the Nampa/Meridian area to meet the high demand. I still have around six months left on my one-year commitment. If the overcrowding persists, I'll be searching for a different gym in the Treasure Valley.
Austin Hill (4/22/25, 1:32 PM):
Treadmills be goin' off at random times durin' your run. Today it was number 20, yesterday it was number 16. Quite frightenin' if ye ask me.

It would be grand if they offered a towel service. I'd be willin' to pay extra for that convenience.
Vincent Ford (4/21/25, 5:31 PM):
I've been with Axiom for years now and after visiting each location at least once, I've felt the most comfortable at the Meridian location. It's conveniently right off the freeway, the layout is super spacious, I adore the women's-only room and I've never had any problems with fellow gym-goers or staff. The front desk team is always cheerful, and the chaps in the back have been incredibly helpful with any queries about account details. Absolutely love it there!
Edward Clark (4/20/25, 7:04 AM):
The gym area itself is fantastic, but the sauna at this particular location is dreadfully filthy. The same applies to the showers. There is grime on the sauna wood that has likely never been cleaned, disinfected, or serviced adequately. It would be wise to have this sauna properly cleaned and disinfected as its current state is undoubtedly unsafe for users.
Ryan Graham (4/20/25, 2:41 AM):
Lovely gym, I must say. Impeccably clean and organized, with an abundance of facilities. Yet, it is rather unfortunate that the childcare services have limited hours on Fridays, concluding at 1:00 pm.
Joe Murphy (4/13/25, 4:32 PM):
Leaving a rating of 2 stars is being quite generous, I must say. Nevertheless, it is only fair to mention that there were a few staff members who were indeed respectful and supportive when I opened up about my vulnerabilities as I embarked on this health journey.

However, when I had a meeting with one of the trainers and explained that, for the time being, I was not inclined to hire a personal trainer as I wished to gradually adjust my personal schedule to accommodate the gym routine, he started to belittle me. He insinuated that perhaps my goals were not that important or that finances were an issue. Despite my repeated assertions that I was not interested, he persisted in questioning me about what aspect of my schedule was hindering me.

I felt incredibly disrespected to the extent that I purposefully avoided encountering this particular trainer by going out of my way to visit other gym locations over the following weeks. The manager did take my call to listen to my account of the situation and offered an apology on behalf of the trainer. Surprisingly, the trainer himself, Stephen, did not make any effort to apologize before I eventually decided to terminate my membership.
Raymond Roberts (4/13/25, 7:15 AM):
Bodypump is me absolute fave class. I didn't even know I'd fancy group fitness as much as I do. I found a proper community and gym mates right quick. Everyone is so helpful and supportive. I especially love the instructors here; Shannon, Emily, and Rich are the best!
Andrew Price (4/13/25, 4:44 AM):
This gym is truly splendid! I've only been a member for 5 months yet I find great pleasure in the upstairs cardio area and the 4 brand new reclined bikes. They are just smashing. The gym is kept spick and span, with a lovely upgraded locker room. The crew is so friendly and helpful. The only niggles I have are the lack of extra leg extension and curl machines. Many folks tend to hog these machines, doing endless sets while fiddling with their phones in between. Quite frustrating as I've tried to work in, but the usual response is "I'll be done in a bit...just a few more sets." I suffer from an autoimmune disease which restricts my endurance and strength, so it's vital for me to efficiently navigate my limited daily energy reserves when in the gym. Apart from this hiccup, it's a fantastic spot for a workout.
Katherine Fisher (4/7/25, 4:33 AM):
I absolutely adore this gym and have been a loyal member for many years. It's always bustling, which is a testament to its popularity. If you prefer a less crowded environment, I recommend visiting before or after the peak hours. The only issue I've encountered here was when my car keys were taken from the cubby area in front of the men's bathroom. Admittedly, it was my fault for leaving them unattended. My advice to others would be to never leave any valuables unattended on the black cubby near the entrance to avoid any potential theft.
