I absolutely adore TBYW! I've been a member for a year and a half now, and I can honestly say that I still thoroughly enjoy my time here. The team is absolutely fantastic, so supportive and non-judgmental. After struggling with pain and restricted mobility, I noticed positive changes almost right away after joining. Now, over a year later, I am free from pain, more flexible, and stronger than I've ever been. I cannot praise this gym highly enough.

I've been working with TBYW personal trainers (Josef, Michelle, Natillie, and Matt) for nearly a year now. As a keen runner, I initially signed up to enhance my racing goals. While I've indeed become a more robust and less injury-prone runner (with lots of PRs to show for it!), I've also expanded my fitness horizons, which has been a godsend when I couldn't run due to various reasons (injury, etc.). Most recently, my pregnancy put a halt on some running aspirations; Joseph promptly adjusted my program to accommodate this new phase, ensuring I remain strong and healthy despite having to reduce my mileage.

Visiting TBYW isn't a "chore". My workout changes roughly every six weeks, so I never get bored, and the gradual progression of exercises clearly indicates that I'm getting stronger week by week. Everyone is incredibly friendly, and there's a powerful sense of camaraderie among both the members and trainers. Even my husband, who isn't consistently active, recently joined and never grumbles about going to the gym! We attend 2-3 times a week, and he's already shed a few inches off his waist. We're both thrilled with our decision to join and as long as we're in the Washington DC area, we plan on being long-term TBYW members.

Matt is an incredible trainer and a truly amazing individual. He has a knack for inspiring and motivating you to prioritize self-care - he's a top-notch coach. He guided me through both pre and post shoulder replacement within the past year, and my recovery was remarkably speedy. Less than a year later, thanks to him, I've regained 95% of my mobility and strength. I'm now back to all my weight-bearing exercises and increasing the intensity every week! He's absolutely fantastic! The members of the club are dedicated and encouraging. I put in the effort and thoroughly enjoy it! Exercising with Matt at True 180 is an indispensable aspect of my life!

The Body You Want is truly a fantastic gym. I've had the pleasure of working closely with Josef and Matt, and they've both taught me so much about how to gain strength and reduce body fat. After already shedding 80 lbs on my own, they helped me take my body transformation to the next level and shared invaluable insights on nutrition and fitness that I hadn't been aware of (and I prided myself on knowing a lot!) The trainers genuinely care about your health and well-being, a far cry from my experiences at larger gyms or more corporate studios in the DC area. What stood out to me was the diversity at this gym - people of different ages and fitness levels, each following their own personalized plan. The additional support and guidance are absolutely worth it, and the entire team is always ready to address queries and help you reach your personal best.
