Discovering Life Time Fitness in Centennial, Colorado

Life Time Fitness in Centennial, Colorado, stands out as a premier destination for fitness enthusiasts and families alike. With an array of amenities, this gym offers something for everyone, from advanced fitness machinery to recreational options.

A Thriving Atmosphere

Upon entering Life Time Fitness, members are greeted with a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The facility boasts a basketball court and a tennis court, providing ample opportunities for both casual players and competitive athletes. The spacious layout encourages interaction, making it easy to meet fellow fitness lovers.

Online Classes and Extensive Amenities

One of the standout features of Life Time Fitness is their selection of online classes. These classes range from yoga to high-intensity interval training, ensuring that all fitness levels can find a suitable option. Additionally, various amenities, such as the sauna, steam room, and outdoor services, create an unparalleled wellness experience.

On-Site Services and Child Care

For parents, the on-site child care services are a game changer. Members can utilize a safe environment where their children can engage in fun activities while they focus on their workouts. The wheelchair-accessible entrance ensures that all facilities are inclusive, enhancing accessibility for every member.

Concerns About Crowding and Maintenance

Despite its many advantages, some criticisms have arisen regarding the crowds and maintenance issues. Many users feel that the number of memberships should be restricted to alleviate overcrowding during peak hours. Issues like low water pressure in showers and the cleanliness of locker rooms have also been noted as areas needing attention.

Membership Requirements and Service Options

Membership is required to access all that Life Time Fitness offers. While the price may seem steep, many members believe the quality justifies it. However, high prices combined with limited availability can lead to frustration, especially when more amenities, such as basketball courts, are converted for other uses.

Experiences to Note

Patrons highlight the professionalism of trainers like Anastasiia, who deliver customized workout experiences, ensuring each individual meets their fitness goals safely. Positive experiences with staff have contributed to a sense of community within the gym. Yet, there have been calls for improved communication and customer service, particularly concerning account issues or inquiries.

Final Thoughts

Life Time Fitness in Centennial, CO, is undoubtedly a top-tier fitness facility with extensive services and a vibrant community. While it excels in offering diverse amenities and classes, improvements in management and facility maintenance could elevate the experience even further. For those seeking an all-encompassing fitness destination, this facility remains a noteworthy option.

We 'ave 'ad a brilliant experience with Lifetime Fitness Centennial. Our kids take swim lessons there and martial arts. We 'ave been very impressed with both. On a recent holiday, my 8-year-old son and I swam in a protected ocean bay for 45 minutes where neither of us could touch the bottom. 'E was not using a life vest, just 'is swimming skills. I am very impressed with the skills 'e learned at Lifetime.

I 'ave also personally used the training staff, specifically Joel. 'E is amazing. Even though I 'ave not used 'is services in six months, 'e still texts me from time to time to check 'ow my workouts and eating 'abits are going. Well above and beyond expected service. 'E and Lifetime 'ave earned my repeat business.

I absolutely adore Lifetime Fitness. I've been a member for countless years and I have never had a negative encounter. The place is always kept impeccably clean. I particularly enjoy the summer camp they provide for the little ones. It's truly a worthwhile investment!
Bobby Brooks (4/27/25, 11:48 PM):
I've been a member for over 11 years now, and let me tell you, I would strongly advise against joining this place. The costs are skyrocketing and the standards of the facilities are plummeting just as fast. The locker rooms are absolutely vile and neglected nowadays, it's truly revolting. It's just not worth the money anymore!

What's even more frustrating is that they've gotten rid of the turf fields and basketball courts to make way for Pickleball Central...like, seriously, why?!
Charles Torres (4/22/25, 9:05 AM):
My family and I have recently become members of this gym. I must say, this establishment is without a doubt the finest workout facility I have ever frequented. It has all the necessary amenities to help me achieve my fitness objectives. My wife shares my sentiment and is equally impressed with the facilities. When I am here, I do not feel pressured to hurriedly complete my workout; the atmosphere is serene yet also invigorating, if that makes sense. This gym resembles more of a wellness retreat, and it certainly exudes that kind of ambiance. I am extremely pleased with my choice to join this gym.
Beverly Coleman (4/21/25, 3:40 PM):
This spot is fantastic, mate. If you've got little ones, make sure to make the most of all the amazing facilities and events for the kiddos. They've got parents' night out, rock climbing nights, school break camps, and classes like ballet and Spanish. The only thing I'd mention is that the staff should probably check their emails more often, and the personal trainers could definitely be a bit more friendly and approachable.
Emily Gomez (4/17/25, 10:30 PM):
I was looking to sign up for a membership and called ahead excited to come and check out the facility in advance, just to make sure my wife could see the place before agreeing. However, the front desk lady informed me that they did not allow that and it would cost $40 each for a day pass. This is the first time I have ever experienced a gym charging extra just to see the facility before agreeing to a membership that costs over $100 per month.

I am disappointed and will have to look elsewhere.
Dylan Gomez (4/16/25, 10:20 PM):
I jus' signed up unda' me boyfriend’s account. I’ve neva' stepped foot into a lifetime fitness but due to such great feedback from him, I decided to do the family plan. Upon enterin' the facility, it looks like a wonderful one stop shop for most of your fitness needs. When we signed up, I was not given a tour, nor was the associate 'elpful at all. Instead she provided me a sticky note with my member number and relied lazily on me boyfriend to do 'er job. Day 2 of bein' a member and I’m still unable to simply create an account due to a character limitation on username. For the membership cost of this gym, this is a below subpar experience.
Beverly Cox (4/15/25, 12:56 PM):
I was checking out a membership and chatted with two folks who didn't appear very clued up about the club. They didn't really mention many of the facilities available. I had to prompt them with questions like "what questions do you have?" to find out basic things like whether they have a pool. Their response was pretty lackluster - just mentioning they have a pool with a fee, along with pickleball and tennis.

They didn't offer me a tour, and I had to specifically request one. Ultimately, I think I'll give it a miss. It seems like regular gyms offer similar amenities and have staff with better attitudes.
Austin Long (4/14/25, 5:27 PM):
I am terribly pleased I became a member of Life Time. Particularly during a pandemic. This establishment is remarkably pristine and the employees have truly gone the extra mile to ensure the premises remain spotless 24/7 to keep operations running smoothly. There's an abundance of cardio machines available and a plethora of space for squats (10 racks!) Plus, they have all the free weights you could need. Loads of machines as well, ensuring a challenging workout every visit. A wide array of classes to participate in. We reside in the tech center, yet this club offers a myriad more than Colorado Athletic Club or even Greenwood Athletic Club. And it's more affordable too! Can't surpass that. Highly recommend, especially if your apartment gym is still closed... It's worthwhile if you're looking to exercise. They check your temperature at the entrance and encourage social distancing wherever feasible. Even at the pool!
Allison Hamilton (4/13/25, 2:32 PM):
I joined this gym about a year ago, and I absolutely adore it. The folks here are so welcoming and truly assist you in achieving your fitness objectives. I cannot praise my trainers enough from the past year, but Emily is consistently attentive and incredibly patient. Jess motivates you to unleash your full potential and really pushes you. Additionally, having an outdoor pool with a charming outdoor café is the perfect place to unwind after a workout.
Richard Bennett (4/12/25, 4:12 PM):
This gym is absolutely fantastic. A mate of mine invited me along as a guest and I was blown away by the cleanliness of the facilities and the wide variety of equipment available. I was genuinely surprised by the range of activities on offer here. It's more than just a gym, it's a total destination. The sauna was a standout for me, and the food and drink options at the bar are top-notch. I had such a great time that I'm thinking about moving closer just so I can become a member. If you have the opportunity, you really should take a tour. The staff were exceptional. Thanks once again for the day pass.
Cheryl Rodriguez (4/12/25, 9:34 AM):
We became members in 2017 and will most likely remain part of this gym for life. None of the other gyms in the area can compete with the fantastic amenities offered for families with young children. The children's department has always had exceptional managers who work tirelessly to provide a fun and secure environment for the little ones. I am particularly thrilled to see the positive changes being implemented by the current kids management team, led by Glory C and Tina S. These women will ensure the safety of your kids. I have never felt more at ease bringing my children to this gym.

I have trained with Drew H for many years, and she is a trainer who will not only help you achieve your fitness goals but also encourage you to embrace self-acceptance and love. She is the real deal. Max T is another outstanding trainer.

Lynn K is an incredibly talented esthetician. Book a facial with her immediately, even yesterday if possible. Just do it. And afterwards, have Nikki Z take care of your nails.

I wish I had more time to attend the classes because they offer such a wide variety. There is something for everyone. However, if you get the chance to join a cycle class with Josh C., you will not regret it. He has the best music selection and is incredibly motivating without being intimidating.

And we absolutely adore the pool. Every summer, it feels like our second home.
Elizabeth Cook (4/11/25, 7:48 PM):
There are definitely pros and cons to the lifetime gym, but overall, I really like it. The childcare center has been great for me; I have always been able to get a reservation for my 4-month-old, and my 4-year-old son loves it. The classes are also great, but they do need more afternoon times. The personal trainer fees are crazy expensive, and our membership for 2 adults and 2 kids is $160, which is a little pricey. One con is that my husband and I don't own a home or have a joint bank account, which is a requirement for a family membership. So now we have to go open a joint bank account just to continue our membership.
Karen Peterson (4/10/25, 8:17 PM):
I 'ad a splendid experience with Anastasiia durin' Intro to Dynamic Personal trainin'. She is right professional and I was very pleased with 'ow quickly she identified me lower back issues. Anastasiia provided me with a great set o' exercises showin' 'ow they 'ave to be performed for better results, considerin' existin' weakness of certain body muscles. I am very satisfied with the session I 'ad with Anastasiia. I highly recommend seein' Anastasiia at Lifetime Centennial if you are lookin' for personal consultation, advise, or trainin'.
Chloe Kim (4/9/25, 5:39 AM):
This gym is top-notch, offering a wide array of services and workout choices. The trainers here are incredibly skilled, customizing your fitness regimen to address the wear and tear from years of desk work. The staff is warm and attentive, ensuring the facilities are kept in excellent condition. Their attention to detail during the Covid-19 pandemic has been exceptional. I can't speak highly enough of this gym.
Lucy Flores (4/9/25, 4:07 AM):
We simply adore Life time. The GM is absolutely fabulous. You can tell he genuinely cares and the staff are cheerful and attentive. The spa team is also fantastic. The gym is vast and pristine. The childcare is greatly valued as well. There are numerous enjoyable activities for the kids. They truly consider everything here!
David Moore (4/8/25, 2:04 PM):
I quite fancy the amenities and most of the staff at this gym. They do a grand job at keeping the place tidy and swiftly fixing any wonky equipment. However, as of late, they seem to be going all out on promoting personal training. I would have rated them 5 stars if not for this. Nowadays, they have trainers stationed at the entrance, at the top of the stairs leading to the workout area, and pretty much everywhere else to push you into signing up.

I reckon they see personal training as the main way to bring in extra cash for the gym, but it's really starting to have a negative impact on the overall experience.
Judy Jackson (4/3/25, 2:38 PM):
I 'ave been a lifetime fitness Centennial member for years, innit! Lifetime is my Nirvana, mate! No kidding! It 'as been me best mate, especially during the Pandemic!

Where do I start - the instructors, personal coaches, the General Manager (Dan Opfer), pool, yoga, fitness classes, Racquet ball, Tennis - everything and everyone is top notch, chuffed to bits, I tell ya!

It's a pleasure to be at Lifetime, I look forward to the classes. Their child care is great too! Their customer service is amazing, spot on! They 'ave a spa service too and the cafe is amazing as well! Love Lifetime! Thank you!
Brittany Cooper (4/2/25, 11:11 AM):
One of the most friendly and accommodating staff members you'll come across. Big shoutout to Brandon at the front desk for just being an all-around great guy. Tried out a day pass this week and now it's my aim to become a fully-fledged member next month.
Nicholas Henderson (4/1/25, 5:44 AM):
I 'ave always 'ad a jolly good experience 'ere. Usually I 'ave to give up gyms after a few months because of all of the excessive compliments I get from people at the gym. As you know, the worst thing a 'uman can get is compliments from another 'uman. But I 'ave not 'ad this classical problem. Everyone is instead quiet 🤫 and politely ensconced in their digital worlds. The gym is clean and 'as many unused machines.
